"A Wilder Wood"comes from the lovely woods close to my home in the Peak District. This is one of my favourite woodland areas where I often walk taking my sketchbook. Bright sunlight filters through the leaves creating dramatic shadows over the forest floor, while the eye wanders over the abstract marks in the foreground.

An original artwork, one of a kind, this painting has been created with high quality acrylic paints on deep edged canvas. I use impasto techniques layer on layer applied with a palette knife, creating a contemporary painting, which lies somewhere between abstraction and realism. The painting continues round the sides, a frame is not needed and it is ready to hang.

For secure shipping I package work carefully and dispatch by special delivery with parcel force, tracking for the journey.
