" A watchful eye,Jaguar"
Following on from the graphite drawing I did of this Jaguar a few weeks ago,I've now just finished this acrylic painting of the same scene.
I think this painted version took me just a little longer to complete than the drawing. The painting isn't identical to the drawing as the surrounding foliage is so complex that I simply used artistic license to paint it.
An art critics review, following an exhibition in Toulouse,France" Julians' ability to bring realism to has work is astounding;More than photorealism, he paints what the human eye sees when viewing his subjects in real life. His use of light and shade,to create form,is second to none."
