Artist's description:

This scene from Dartmoor in Cornwall, Britain, is close to my home. I'm surrounded by inspirational landscapes and they're often incorporated into imaginative works I paint. This work is deliberately photo-realistic and was inspired by a great friend, for whom this is his favourite place in the world.

Despite its photographic appearance it is nevertheless a free-hand painting and has taken me 150 hours to complete. It is only the fourth landscape I've ever painted and it builds upon everything I learned about painting rock and vegetation in the previous three.

This is an original free-hand painting carried out on a Wacom graphics tablet.

Supplied with frame and wall hangers and full instructions - frame hanger requires screwing into frame.

Materials used:

Timber, canvas, UV resistant inks.
