Original artwork description:

This is one of my early paintings. It was created at one go and expresses the intuition about some very deep and ancient layers in our consciousness - layers where the form is hardly differentiated and everything is pretty rough. This is why the depicted "fish" looks more like a clump. The creature is half-trapped in the red (emotional) arch in the left (unconscious) part of the painting. Its deep cobalt blue color symbolizes its origin and habitat, namely from the very deep layers of the ocean (unconscious).

It also makes a reference to Vand der Graff's song "Killer" that begins with the words "So you live in the bottom of the sea,
And you kill all that come near you
But you are very lonely, because all the other fish
Fear you…"
