Artist's description:

The “Playtime” series - suprematist compositions.
The installation itself is built from everyday, personal articles. Composition, line, geometric shapes, light, space, proportions are originally the components of architecture. I simply use all these elements while making photographs. I just apply my professional background to photography. Some of my works are nothing more than sketches to my architectural projects. Mostly a creativity process occurs at my drawing table and I use the stuff that is close at hand. I choose the light, depending on the tasks. Natural light is my favorite. As for artificial lighting I use flashlights and a desk lamp, sometimes the light from the monitor. To be honest, the process itself is just a game or some kind of action for me. I’d say that «imagination is indispensable as existential necessity". Even if some objects in an abstract picture are recognizable they don’t carry any concreteness. And it is a characteristic feature of abstract art, as well as the possibility to create your own images on the basis of what you see.
