Artwork description:

This small acrylic painting shows a young girl touching a bear paw through the window during quarantine. This painting is one I did dedicated to what we did in our neighborhood during the quarantine pandemic of 2020.

"A Painting of Remembrance"

"Hey Grandma, Can you tell me about that old painting hanging in your bedroom?"

"Sure I can. You see when I was a little girl, about 45 years ago. I think it was the year 2020. There was a scary virus that really made things rough for everybody. But we got through it OK because we helped each other by staying away from each other until it passed. In my neighborhood we coped by using a story from a sweet children's book about hunting bears. This painting is one I did for a remembrance of that time. A remembrance of no matter how bad things seem... they will get better!"

That's a nice story Grandma.... Thank you for sharing it.
