Artist's description:

Significant impasto statement piece.
This is an original triptych painting in a traditional style and format.

It has an overall width including 2 x 3inch central gaps of 7ft 10 inches x a height of 2ft 6 inches. ( In metric term - 230.5cm x 76cm. )-

A substantial painting size wise and it is heavy due to it being painted with a lavish thickness of paint, an acrylic impasto applied in layers to a good depth with brushes.
The subject matter is easy to take in yet belies the complexity of painting technique and use of rich impasto, thick , paint.
The style may be regarded as Impressionist, the paint gives the feel of a sun rising at dawn, entering into the day and lighting the atmosphere, introducing warmth, light and replacing the dark.
This one was a labour of love and developed it's own time frame until completion.
It requires a good situation to be displayed and appreciated in - yes it is quite a Statement piece being a celebration of a new day, a new chance and a continuation of daily life.
It is the Sun, showing the way - what can be more natural, hopeful, positive, spiritual and welcoming.
This original art piece would befit any appropriate space.
Please enjoy.
Thank you
