Original artwork description:

We have been to Venice several times - twice with our kids. The image that I painted here was taken from one of our photos. I can remember the exact moment we took it. We had finished lunch in the Jewish Quarter and were wandering with our youngest down one of the shopping streets trying to find him a bathing costume. While I waited outside the shop for him to try something on, I took this photo - looking up, over the top of the church.....into that blue, blue sky.
