This is a lino print of a yellowhammer on gorse named 'A little bit of bread with no cheese'.
The song of the yellow hammer is often described as sounding a bit like the bird is saying ‘a-little-bit-of-bread-with-no-cheeeeeese’. Found across the UK, this species is not as abundant as it used to be and has now been placed on red list for bird protection. The males are easily identified by their bright yellow head and under parts and are often seen boldly perched on top of a bush singing.
This print is a limited edition of 5 hand printed prints on 220g, acid free heavy weight paper. The print comes mounted in soft white mount in a black frame.
