This is probably the most heavily layered and intense collections of thought placed onto paper in my full abstract series. Oil layered over and mixed with inks applied to the paper using knife, drip, and (one of my personal favorites) pipette techniques to create this landscape. The trees and vegetation reclaiming the urban structures explode in a vibrant display reclaiming what was once theirs and creating distant memories of the concrete and steel. Across the bottom is illegible text which is reference to an old photograph that I possess. I love the authenticity it brings and conversations it opens up. Shown publicly once, this piece is currently professionally framed in a float mount style. it can easily be re-framed to match your décor and taste. Just make sure to note how you would like it sent when ordering.
