A strange place for a portrait. White tile. Totally unsuitable space for a living organism. But as always, attention to detail!
Dead light creates atmosphere and draws a portrait of an ordinary man in an unusual atmosphere. But the small bright details take your attention in a completely different direction. Into a completely different life.
This is a picture of provocation, like many of my paintings. There is no manifesto or propaganda in it. Nor is there a moral message. It's a glimpse into another life. It's not for everyone, but life would be much more boring without it.
