Artist's description:

In the corner of a field on the Croome Estate, Worcestershire, England, stands this mighty old oak tree. Croome is under the care of the National Trust and has been lovingly restored, both house and the estate, to something resembling that planned by Capability Brown. I spend much of my time there, walking the dog, taking photos and sketching. I came across this oak one late spring day when the sun was shining and all the colours of the fields were vivid and fresh. There are many interesting trees there, one of my loves, so there are many more paintings planned! This painting is on canvas board rather than stretched canvas. I named this painting after a song by Tribes which was playing while I was painting at home.

Painted on canvas board, this will need framing to hang.
