It is possible, then, to think of color as an aesthetic element, in the sense to which the term "aesthesis" refers, that is, the sensitive and spiritual possibilities of color, the mark of all modernism and synthesized in the fundamental "Of Spiritual in Art" of Wassily Kandinsky.
