Artist's description:

A medium-format colour positive and digital print of Tobermory bay, digitally manipulated, inspired by the landscape, weather conditions and long-exposure medium-format photography of the mid-20 century.

I use my 1920s Kodak No.2 Folding Autographic Brownie medium-format camera to take colour positive, or slide, images of my local landscape. I take long exposures and have the film processed in London.

When I get them back, it is always very exciting to see how the photographs have developed, I then layer the image with a digital image of the same landscape and manipulate the image digitally. From this image I have the prints processed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper, which compliments my work very well.

Materials used:

Fuji photographic paper

Harbour light (2017)
