Artist's description:

If you follow my work you will know that for the past couple of years I have been working on a project, taking abstract art back to it's roots. It is now time to move on to the next stage and this is to incorporate what I have discovered with what I already did before, which basically means to expand my style.
What have I leant? well to put it simply I learnt about the power of making errors, I am learning from my mistakes and also creating from them. The last couple of years involved working with patterns and creating new ones. I found that when drawing complicated patterns I often made errors and rather than correcting them I left them. The outcome was that it stopped being a pattern and started to become a picture.
Having gone back to the drawing board I am now working on a series of works where I use a pattern as my base and try to add and control my errors to give my pictures a new, for want of a better word, dimension.
I don't know if this is true but I read somewhere that when the American Indians made mistakes in their patterns they left them because they believed it was the Gods talking to them.
When I am doing this new project I hope that the Gods will talk to me and guide me.
