Artwork description:

This figurative female composition is a reoccurring theme in many of my works, including painting and printmaking. Initially inspired by Klimt's drawing they have become characters of their own telling different stories through my artworks.

Compares to other works from 3 Sisters series this Linocut has a dark feel to it. Rough hatching and dynamic strokes making the characters appear slightly sinister.

This is a unique print on a recycled screen print after 2nd colour reduction of a linocut (originally a limited edition series of two colour reduction linocut prints).

Materials used:

Newsprint, colour based ink
