The title refers to the technique of filming during the day with powerful filters, to mimic the night, widely used in the ‘50s - ’60s.
Through this series I analyze the tendency of the human mind to sink into darkness. It comes as no surprise how easy people accept this.
I make a point about invaded private and personal space by drawing ramshackle houses.
I represent unknown characters gathered from old family photos and I play with them using the specific image of the developed photographic film. Their occasional smile emphasizes the obscure context in which they are found.
