Artist's description:

This is part of a series of paintings made and exhibited at Penn State University in 2015, when I was serving as the Emerging Artist in Residence in 2015. During this time, I began developing my methods of working with watercolor and acrylic paint at the same time.

This painting is made with acrylic and watercolor paint on cold pressed watercolor paper. It is then adhered to cradled wooden panel. Each painting is hand trimmed, and there are slight variations in the dimension of the painting. The surface of the painting is sealed with an acrylic varnish that protects against UV damage.

Materials used:

The painting is made on watercolor paper, which is then adhered to wooden panel.
