Original artwork description:

This is a landscape from the "Seasons" series. In this group of work, I have reduced the dominant forms to geometric patterns as a juxtaposition to the organic background environment. I find the tension created by this contrast very interesting, and I have intuitively worked this technique into other series over the years.

This particular piece was inspired by an early snow storm.
