"WILDFLOWER" (2025) Original Mixed-media Painting by Julia Borg

“Wildflower” is a large abstract floral painting created with acrylic and oil on canvas. Expressive brushstrokes, layered texture and flowing colour transitions create a sense of movement, depth and blooming energy.

At the centre of the composition, a wildflower unfolds in an abstract spiral, surrounded by fluid floral shapes and soft organic lines. Royal blue, deep green, purple, terracotta and warm golden tones blend together, giving the painting a rich and vibrant presence.

This modern floral artwork speaks about self-love, inner growth and transformation — the feeling of opening, changing and becoming more fully yourself. It can be displayed vertically or horizontally, making it a versatile statement painting for a living room, bedroom, office, entrance area or contemporary interior.
