Undercurrent (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Lyndsay Tarren-Leister

One of the central paintings in my current collection, 'Places Felt Rather Than Seen', Undercurrent explores the movement and emotion that sit beneath the surface of a remembered place.

Layers of colour, texture and expressive marks are built up and softened, allowing traces of earlier stages to remain visible. Areas of quiet sit alongside stronger passages, creating a sense of depth and gentle tension.

The painting invites you to linger, finding your own memories and associations within its layers.
