I create art as a way to explore the quiet dialogue between reality and imagination. My paintings are inspired by classical traditions of painting, particularly the dramatic light and symbolism found in old master works, while also incorporating contemporary surreal elements. I am fascinated by the way light, texture, and composition can evoke emotion and invite viewers into a contemplative space.

Originally from Ukraine, where I was born, raised, and received my early artistic education, my background continues to influence my artistic perspective.

I would like to present my work on Artfinder because the platform values original art and supports independent artists while connecting them with collectors who appreciate thoughtful and carefully crafted paintings.

Exhibitions and Competition Participation

2026 — ArtPrize 2026, Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA. Participating in the annual art competition with the painting “Echo of a Single Mind,” presented at DeVos Place Convention Center, Skywalk, September 18–October 3, 2026.

2026 — Selected for the Michigan Fine Arts Competition at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center, MI, juried by Marshall N. Price, Ph.D., Chief Curator at the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University. Carpe Diem received special recognition during the exhibition.

2026 — Participated in the IHub exhibition. Awarded 1st Place for the painting A Midnight Garden at the annual IQhub Art Explosion 6.0.

2025 — Selected to exhibit work in the Michigan Fine Arts Competition at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center, MI.

2025 — Participated in ArtPrize, Grand Rapids, MI.

2025 — Selected as a finalist in an art competition at Frederik Meijer Gardens, MI.
