Splinter (2024) Original Oil Painting by Yuliia Kyrsanova

This texture painting is painted with oil paints on a texture similar to a mosaic. Visually it is unusual and beautiful. This technique combines ancient and modern styles and the plot is taken from a series of childhood memories. A girl helps a boy remove a small splinter from his finger. Children's kindness in helping each other depicted here is very sweet.
