Sitting Taurus (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Lady Jurassika
90 x 90 x 1.5cm (unframed)
$2,129.84
Original artwork description
Sitting Taurus is a tribute to the resilient spirit of Native American nations.
The choice of Carnotaurus is a deliberate play on the chief’s name and a tribute to the symbolic power of the bull.
Adorned in a traditional feathered war bonnet, the dinosaur is no longer a relic of the past, but a living icon of indigenous sovereignty.
In this Pop-Surrealist vision, the “extinct” becomes “eternal,” challenging the narrative of erasure and celebrating the ancestral roots that remain deeply embedded in the American soil.
