A lovely collector bought one of my small paintings of Saigon and asked me to do a commission of the Ben Thanh market in Saigon. Really enjoy the process which brings back my own sweet memories of traveling solo in Vietnam while I was young. How I got hopelessly lost in this big market in Saigon, how I love the old city of Huế, how the locals chatted with me in Vietnamese thinking I was a local when I went out in my new tailor made Áo dài :)
