In this oil on canvas, a dark, engraved vase holds a small bouquet of loose floral forms, ranging from pink, lilac, blue, and green, emerging from a soft, brown background. On the dark surface, to the right, a light-colored plate supports a soft mass with a long, curved element resembling a spoon; to the left, small oval volumes punctuate the surface. The light is soft, and the surfaces remain smooth, velvety, almost liquid.
