This original watercolor was painted en plein air and completed in my studio.
I am deeply inspired by trees, and especially by pine trees. What caught my attention in this scene was the contrast between the living trees, intertwined and gathered into a single canopy, and the fallen, sawn pines lying nearby.
Through my work, I slowly and attentively explore the world around me. Painting is a way for me to observe, understand and connect with what I see, and I try to share this personal way of seeing with the viewer.
