“Off into the Unknown” is about the moment when we no longer know what lies ahead – and move forward anyway. A woman leaps with her arms wide open, carried by the energy of a feeling in the present moment. Beside her, a large blue bird moves through the open pictorial space, as if accompanying her departure. There is no safe ground, no clear destination and no path defining the direction. There is only movement, trust and the willingness to enter something whose outcome cannot be known. The textured surface, with its small openings, repeatedly hints at something deeper beyond it. Perhaps this is how the future begins: when we find the courage to take the next step before knowing where it will lead.
