Nuisance (2026) Original Charcoal Drawing by Piera Triolo

Nuisance is a hyperrealistic charcoal drawing depicting a fly resting on the surface of a human eye. The unexpected presence of something so small creates an unsettling contrast between vulnerability and intrusion.

Through intricate detail, dramatic shading, and realistic textures, this piece explores discomfort, irritation, and the emotions that arise when something seemingly insignificant becomes impossible to ignore.

Nuisance invites viewers to experience a feeling that is difficult to put into words, transforming an ordinary annoyance into something deeply personal.
