Never again (2025) Original Wood Sculpture by Cezary Stachura

,,Never again'' is a handmade wooden sculpture in which an organic form resembles a body or a winged figure suspended between presence and disappearance. Its elongated silhouette and open interior create a sense of fragility, anticipation and quiet tension.

The visible grain and natural markings of the wood become an integral part of the composition. The material preserves the memory of the tree while carrying the traces of the artist’s intervention — cutting, shaping and searching for a form concealed within the raw piece of wood. The sculpture combines a classical approach to working with material with a sense of ambiguity, leaving space for the viewer’s own interpretation.

The work is intended to be mounted on a wall. Its vertical form can complement both a calm, minimalist interior and a collector’s space.
