A bold abstract composition evokes the silhouette of a sailboat against a vivid green sky, its dark mast and rigging rising sharply amid thick, gestural strokes of red, teal, and black. Heavy impasto and confident palette-knife work build a raw, energetic surface where color takes precedence over form, suggesting harbor and horizon through pure expressive gesture. Streaks of yellow and cream cut across the lower register like reflected light on water. Senia Baloyan channels the spirit of the sea into a striking, non-representational study of color, structure, and atmosphere.
