Original artwork description
The painting captures a precise, dynamic instant of a diver suspended above the water, balancing movement and stillness. The elongated body and vertical composition emphasize the tension of the dive, while the flowing water creates a sense of continuous motion around the figure. The work insists on the suspension of action: everything is concentrated in this one fleeting moment, just before the body enters the water.
