Original artwork description
HICH (Nothing) is a contemporary artwork inspired by Persian calligraphy, traditional Iranian tilework, and the philosophical meaning of the word “Hich,” which translates to “Nothing” in Persian.
At the center of the composition, elegant golden Persian lettering emerges against intricate blue and turquoise geometric patterns reminiscent of historic Persian architecture. The contrast between luminous gold, vibrant blue, and a deep black background creates a striking balance between cultural heritage and contemporary design.
Beyond its decorative beauty, HICH invites viewers to reflect on existence, emptiness, self-awareness, and the deeper meaning of life. Blending Persian cultural identity with a modern visual language, this artwork offers a distinctive statement for collectors of contemporary, conceptual, and calligraphic art.
