The painting is made using encaustic technique, which is a very ancient technique, dated back in the antique times. Encaustic paint is made from a combination of beeswax, pigment, and damar resin, and is worked by heating and melting the materials.

My technique is a mix of multiple layers of wax and wax crayons that create depth and subtle color vibrations. The painting is very textured.

The painting is very durable, but it is susceptible to high temperatures, so it should not be hung in a place which may get excessively hot, such as near a radiator or in direct sunlight!
