Divine Creation is an original painting inspired by the powerful image of two hands reaching towards one another in Michelangelo's The Creation of Adam.

I was particularly drawn to the moment of connection — the small space between the hands and the suggestion that life, energy and creativity can pass from one being to another. In my own interpretation, I placed the hands within a deep, atmospheric world of violet, indigo and dark blue, allowing them to emerge from an abstract, almost cosmic space.

The painting combines oil and acrylic on canvas, with expressive layers, textured marks and luminous outlines that bring the two hands into focus. The surrounding abstract surface creates a sense of mystery and movement, while the meeting of the hands remains the central emotional moment.

For me, Divine Creation is about the spark of life, human connection and the mysterious creative force that exists between imagination and reality.
