Deep Into Unknown is part of my Forest of Unrooted Trees series, exploring family, ancestry, belonging and the invisible connections that shape our identity.
The branching forms are constructed from individual threads, gradually assembled and embroidered onto the surface. From a distance they appear almost like drawing; up close, the raised threads reveal the physical, tactile nature of the work.
I use the image of a tree not as a botanical subject, but as a metaphor for human relationships — the networks of family, memory and place that support us, even when they are not immediately visible.
The restrained dark background allows the embroidered structure to catch the light and change subtly as the viewer moves around the piece.
This is a one-of-a-kind original mixed-media artwork, signed on the back and ready to hang.
Materials: acrylic, canvas, thread and embroidery.
Packed securely and dispatched from Hungary within 3–5 working days.
