Corals (2020) Original Oil Painting by Ansgar Dressler

A lively square meter of underwater paradise. Deep ocean blues and bright turquoise flow over the canvas, while bursts of magenta, crimson and violet bloom at the bottom like a living coral reef. Fine white splashes sparkle through the water like light and tiny bubbles. Applied with palette knife and brush in rich layers of oil, the surface is full of texture and movement.

Up close you discover countless details; from across the room it reads as a vibrant reef to enjoy from the comfort of your couch. A fresh, joyful accent for a living room, bedroom or bathroom.
