Configuration

The work explores the relationship between pure white space and ornament, transforming the pictorial surface into a field of rhythm, order, and visual memory. The white space becomes both a background and an active element of the composition, upon which ornamental forms inspired by the structure and motifs of the national traditional rug are reinterpreted through a contemporary visual language.

Rather than being used as mere decoration, the ornament becomes a form of cultural memory—fragmented, reconstructed, and transformed through a personal artistic vision. The interplay between fullness and emptiness, geometric rhythm, and the arrangement of forms creates a dialogue between tradition and contemporaneity, identity and abstraction.
