Breathing Tides (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Grâce Pégéron

50 x 50 x 1.7cm (unframed)

$1,335.61

Warm ochre, two black strokes, a flash of turquoise, the painting declares what it knows.

Sky and Earth have always been in conversation. Water – on earth - is just where they meet. Breathing Tides is about that exchange, and where we stand inside it.

We move through our days carried by forces we don't always name: the accumulated weight of experience, the sudden clarity that breaks through, the deep current underneath it all. Conscious or not, we are part of the rhythm. Bound to it. Living it.

Ochre for the earth that holds us. Black for the tides. Turquoise for the flash of awareness, when sky and ground, above and below, briefly speak the same language.

This is a painting about being alive in the middle of something larger than yourself. The waves are real. So is everything they carry.
