Original artwork description
This is a face that I've perhaps painted more than any other. Her story was a constant presence to me when living in Amsterdam and I used to cycle past the annex on my daily route to work.
Her enduring diary is constant reminder of the best and worst of man, and painting for me is a time for reflection.
This 8x8'' monochromatic oil portrait is painted on board and arrives signed and unframed.
