An oversized teal and white abstract seascape, photographed from the clifftops above Kilt Rock on the Isle of Skye as Atlantic waves crashed against the coast 200 feet below. Intense turquoise-teal water and flashes of white seafoam create a dramatic yet beautifully minimal large-scale coastal artwork.

I created Amphitrite while looking directly down onto the moving water at the foot of the Kilt Rock waterfall. From this height the landscape disappears and the sea becomes almost abstract—a shifting composition of colour, movement and light.

At 84 × 56 inches, Amphitrite is designed to have presence on a large wall. Its restrained palette makes it particularly suited to spacious living rooms, open-plan interiors, double-height spaces and contemporary coastal homes, where it can create a statement without introducing overpowering colour. It would also work beautifully within luxury residential, hospitality, wellness and interior design projects.

Printed on exquisite heavyweight museum-quality fine art canvas using archival inks. Each Limited Edition print is individually signed and numbered and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

The canvas includes approximately 2 inches of white border for stretching and is shipped safely rolled in a sturdy art tube, ready for your local framer.
