A forest behind trees (2025) Original Mixed-media Painting by Olya Tereschuk
30 x 40 x 2cm (unframed) / 30 x 117cm (actual image size)
$1,400
Original artwork description
A Forest Behind Trees belongs to my ongoing Forest of Unrooted Trees series, exploring belonging, memory and the invisible structures that connect us to family, place and origin.
The branching form is built from individual threads and embroidered onto raw canvas, creating a tactile relief that shifts subtly with the light. The contrast between the restrained natural surface and the red thread gives the work both physical presence and a sense of fragility.
This is an original one-of-a-kind textile and mixed-media artwork, signed on the back and ready to hang.
Materials: raw canvas, cotton thread, embroidery.
Packed securely and dispatched from Hungary within 3–5 working days.
