Taking inspriation from the RA's Summer Exhibition's theme of duos, this week we hunt out the best partnerships on Artfinder. From brothers and sisters, to couples, to friends, here's a round up of our favourites from around the world. And remember, the couple that paints together, stays together.
1. Aleksey and Anton Tvorogov
Russian twins Aleksey and Anton are one of our very favourite Artfinder duos. They work from their shared house in Moscow, exploring anthropomorphic images including these muscly walruses.
2. Isabelle and Thierry Vobmann
Husband and wife team, Isabelle and Thierry live in Plougasnou in France. Here they are painting their first ever wall together. Thierry describes Isabelle as his 'wife and favourite painter.'
3. Jilly and Jackie Henderson
Scottish sisters Jilly and Jackie Henderson have both been on Artfinder since our very beginnings in early 2013. Although they work separately they often exhibit together, including a recent exhibition at The Thistle Gallery in Glasgow.
4. Devon Art Pop
A collective of artists who initially met through the #DevonHour hashtag on twitter, Devon Art Pop includes Artfinder artists and best friends Jill Griffin and Theresa Shaw, along with Amy Jobes, Lucy Griffiths, Sue Lewis and Louise Thompson. They are currently exhibiting at Buckland Abbey, Yelverton.
5. The Painted Ladies
Based in Carnation, Washington, The Painted Ladies are an artist collective organised by Artfinder artists Karen Whitworth and Talya Johnson. Here's Karen in her element, painting en plein air, being distracted by a horse.
