Major downfall was having to pay customs duty. If I had known in advance I would have asked a friend to bring it from the States!

I am happy about your positive rating and sad to see the not so favorable rating in terms of delivery and listing accuracy. Apparently all UK customers have to pay vat, handing and import fees, I am not sure why you had to pay duties as I labeled it as original art. I hope artfinder could shed some light on that situation. They had confirmed with me that on the website they alert to these extra charges when importing. I refunded you a portion of the shipping cost to augment these extra charges. My apologies, I have no impact on the UK postal and customs authorities.

Dear Helen, I am so pleased you like it. Shipping stones especially large ones is an issue if shipping abroad, But I am happy to have found an in-between solution so you could place them on the mantle etc. BTW they traveled all the way to Aspen Colorado with me to be shipped, they did not quite go skiing but almost ;-) Kind Regards, Yenny

We LOVE our sculpture! Yenny was very communicative and offered us a choice of different cats and bases. We couldn't be more pleased with both the art and the purchasing experience.

A lovely small and poignant sculpture. I think I was a little surprised by how small it is but that is only because I hadn't read the description properly. It will certainly be treasured as my first ever sculpture purchase and I think I made a good choice. Be careful about Import Customs payments- they stung me rather, but it was worth it.

I always remind collectors to go by the exact measurements in the text. About UK customs. Yes, this is an issue. Sometimes that happens and I never know why and other times it's not an issue.
