So pleased with my little family. I bought this as a gift for my husband's birthday and Yenny did an amazing job creating OUR family. Yenny and I emailed each other with my requirements, finish and family details and her sending photos of how it would look. My husband was delighted with his gift when he opened it and friends who have seen it think it is amazing, a real conversation piece.

Sorry you thought it was larger. The dimensions are in inch and I know it's difficult if you are thinking in cm to imagine the size. I usually have the size in the text, or an image that shows another familiar object photographed with them. Photos can be deceiving. Keep in mind that it is real bronze and that just a tad larger bronze pairs would require a change in casting method and the price would tripple. Look at the larger bronzes 7-8 inches.

Major downfall was having to pay customs duty. If I had known in advance I would have asked a friend to bring it from the States!

I am happy about your positive rating and sad to see the not so favorable rating in terms of delivery and listing accuracy. Apparently all UK customers have to pay vat, handing and import fees, I am not sure why you had to pay duties as I labeled it as original art. I hope artfinder could shed some light on that situation. They had confirmed with me that on the website they alert to these extra charges when importing. I refunded you a portion of the shipping cost to augment these extra charges. My apologies, I have no impact on the UK postal and customs authorities.
