Hi Roy I am so sorry when I last checked the tracking it said that your painting had arrived in South Africa on 12th December so had no reason to doubt it would not end up with you. It is the first time as you will see from my feed back that I have had issues with not being able to trace a delivery and it is such a shame that you did not let me know you hadn't received it as I would have been straight on the case, as always. I do hope that you at least will allow me to try to discover what has happened since it arrived in South Africa as looking at the updated tracking ( as provided to you on the Artfinder site) it looks as if the item is in customs (JIMC Priority Mail Air South Africa). Unfortunately, I have no control over this customs process. Saying that I have contacted the South African postal services to get them to try to trace where it is as apparently it is still in their system. I am happy to do you another painting if you would like me to? I would hope that if this matter can be resolved you would re consider your review as I have always prided myself on a good service and it is rare for this to happen. This is a rather delicate and beautifully done representation of spring blossoms. Surely cherry blossoms are one of the most beautiful and popular painting themes, but the bees add interest that sets this work apart and gives it an authentic "garden" feel. Communication with Ms. Tanner was both helpful and timely.

I was attracted to this painting because the subject was rather unusual....not especially glamorous, not seasonal, not idealized...just appealing in the same way as the memory of grandmother's house. Who hasn't enjoyed chair like this? The use of watercolor softens the image and, in my mind, makes the painting less about the image and more about the feeling it evokes.

I am so pleased you understood what I was trying to convey through this watercolour. My chair has a lot of history. Even I have had it for over 40 years and is has had many moves in its lifetime. I have recovered the chair twice and each time found scraps of the original fabric which I have left hidden inside along with my own two pieces. Strangely its not all that comfy more lumpy but everyone loves it and is drawn to it so hopefully that is the essence of comfortable. A pleasure to share in my own inheritance Sandra!

Loved this the moment I spotted it online! It is even nicer in person. It makes me smile whenever I look at it. It came professionally packaged extremely well and arrived in perfect condition. Seller kept in communication regarding shipping. Very pleased with my purchase and experience.

Beautifully detailed watercolour which was very securely packaged and posted very quickly. The pictures online did not do it justice! It was for a present and the recipient loved it. Fantastic all round. Many thanks.

I really love this picture, it’s slightly quirky and amusing, reminiscent of my many overcast days on the beach! I kept going back to it over several days before eventually buying it and I was not disappointed, it’s really lovely, and my husband loves it too. It is now framed and hanging on my wall. Communication was great and the art arrived well packaged and timely. Thank you Teresa
