I love this painting! I don't buy art based on how "pretty" it is; I purchase pieces that illicit an emotional response. This piece is so evocative -- it's a brooding, introspective work. I can almost feel the London mist on my face when I look at it. And -- bonus -- I love ravens (not sure if ravens were intended, but I see ravens). Painting arrived within days of purchase (from London to California!), and was expertly packaged. Loved all the little warnings not to go slashing and slitting open here and there. It also was accompanied by a very sweet personal note from the artist. Thank you, Robert! I have you marked as a favorite now. I've never purchased from Artfinder before, but based on this first experience I will again!
