Biography
Wiltshire based artist, plein air painter and prolific sketcher, with a strong link to the surrounding landscape, especially that of Salisbury Plain and the rich Aviation heritage of this area.
Having a background in publishing, illustration and art teaching, I have a particular focus on a tough yet free approach to drawing and sound painterly methods.
I am constantly to be found observing, painting, and sketching across
Salisbury Plain and it's surrounding areas.
As a member of the prestigious Guild of Aviation Artists since 2002, exhibiting at their Annual Exhibition in London's Mall Galleries each year, I have recently been promoted to Full Member status, able to use the post nomnals GAvA.
Working towards solo and group exhibitions, as well as commissions takes up my creative time.
Works are held within private and museum collections in the UK, USA, Asia and Canada.
