Stunning painting. The colors in this painting and they way they flow together in form create an emerging harmony that is transformational for me. Pol was quick to answer my questions and willing to talk. Love this painting.

Top class Belgian artist Pol Ledent continues to provide us with glorious paintings of the European wildernesses, full of colour, detail and atmosphere. A master of light, atmosphere and technique, the artist takes the observer right into his paintings and momentarily transforms where we are. His palette range is extensive and encourages us to step us and experiment with new colours and shades. I never thought I would consider "Lime"! But it works with Pol. Bravo.

I received the painting and it arrived safely without damage; however, I was very surprised that the painting was sent in a tube! My framer was not pleased and said that due to the type of paper, it will take extra time to flatten it and there is more risk of damage, but he will do his best. It is the first painting I've received in this manner. Also, the online photo is very misleading as I was very disappointed to find that the colors in the actual painting are dull in comparison to the photo on the website. It was the brightness of the blue in the photo that made me want to buy the painting! I am sorry to have to write a rather negative review, but I have purchased many paintings on Artfinder and have never had this experience, so I wanted to let you know. Thank you, Judi Cloutier

Dear Mrs Cloutier, Please accept my apologies ! It is not always easy to take a good photo of a watercolor and my intention was not to mislead you on the brightness ! Thanks for letting me know that sending the watercolor rolled in a tube is not suitable ! From now on I will send them in an appropriate parcel ! I was just a little surprised about this review after the message you had sent to me when you received it ! (((Hi Pol, Just wanted you to know your painting arrived safely yesterday.
