    The first section of my first ever triptych which will produce an enormous 15 feet/4.6m hyper-realistic wide image. This 60 x 60 inch canvas is still only at the under-painting stage with easily another 2 months work to do. Which means we could be looking towards the autumn for a completion date. So plenty of time to save up!

    Some parts barely started, some parts just blocked in and some pebbles quite well progressed. But still a long way to go!

    So here we are a month later and there is still quite a lot still to do. More sparkle and bubbles on the surface of the water and the whole of the figure that is out of the water is still at the under-painting stage. There is a provisional title now!

    A variation on my usually floating or swimming nudes and smaller than most. A 45 x 30 inch composite stretcher here with the under-painting completed. Intending to be quite photo-realistic with this one, so when the under-painting is dry there will easily be another month of painting.
